Two years ago, I had contacted Kari rose to see my child regarding her skull. My daughter was born with severe torticollis and plagiocephaly (Flat head syndrome). She was a C-section baby and this was not caused by too much laying on her back after birth. This was birth trauma. After a consult with the surgeon at the children’s hospital they wanted to put my little girl in a sculpting helmet to try to correct the skull’s positioning. This would involve wearing the helmet 12 hours a day with an exception only at bath time. Also this helmet compresses the skull so you can’t tell me that that is uncomfortable. There also was a shock that Alberta Health did not cover it, so the cost to me was $2500.00 and came with only a 50% guarantee it would work. This was from birth trauma not a cosmetic treatment.

She had been seeing a chiropractor right from birth and CST from Airdrie until we moved and I no longer had a therapist. Kari Rose saw my daughter and has been seeing her for two years now regularly. Within the first three weeks of treatment I saw my daughter’s head pop out at the back and every treatment after that there were small and big changes in her head. We saw her head shifting and sculpting back to normal.
Now looking back, there are other alternative treatments you can use to correct this problem than throwing a helmet that hurts your child. Every treatment my daughter had with Kari she would lay there enjoying her treatments pain free, sometimes even becoming sleepy.

If it wasn’t for Kari rose my daughter would still have a disfigured skull and I would have been forced to go the Medical route. I encourage other mom’s who have a child with the similar problem to explore other options and try cranial on your child. It is a pain free way to work with your body to correct misplacement. I am thankful I met Kari because she has done so much for my child and is a beautiful person inside and out.
